We stayed here in August 2020. We had a number of issues and despite several attempts to contact the owner, and even the managing agents, about these whilst there we were not honoured with any response. So here goes….. The TV couldn’t find a signal. The ensuite shower head had broken off the pole. The oven had no symbols on so we couldn’t understand what was what. We couldn't get the oven to an acceptable temperature to actually cook something within a reasonable time. We couldn’t find the outside bins or the advertised outdoor seating area. There was a small garden area behind a fence but no signs this was for our use and all it contained was a wooden bench which was broken and dangerous. The cleaners need to be asked to hoover under the sofa cushions as these areas were disgusting and one of beds wasn't made properly or even clean. Some of the crockery wasn't very clean either. Some of the pans needed replacing as they were in a very poor condition. There is a limited number of plugs in the bedrooms. Only one in my double room downstairs. A few more adapters would be a good idea. Some guidance on the use of the heaters would be good. A guest book would be a good idea so your guests can share tips and knowledge of the local area. Some windows were sealed shut this should not be done for fire escape purposes. Very poor lighting in the lounge - you couldn’t read a book in there at night and without a working tele this limited our use of this area. Open packets of food from previous guests were left in cupboards. Overall disappointing. We actually left early. We let you know if these issues so you could rectify them and you didn’t even do us the honour of responded to our contact. Would NOT recommend.
